Light it up and let it burn, beauty! Take extra care by trimming your candle wick to 1/4 of an inch to minimize sooting, and light your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface. When burning your candle for the first time, allow the wax pool to melt completely to the edge before extinguishing. Otherwise, keep your candle for three to four hours at a time and within your line of sight.
